Microtech Gefell M930
The M 930 studio condenser microphone combine modern large diaphragm capsule technology with the latest in semiconductor circuit topology. They are specifically designed to meet the needs of professional and semi-professional users who demand the highest performance. The microphones are ideally suited for universal miking applications in broadcast and sound studios. They are also attractive for project studios. Applications include vocalists, announcers, dialog pickup and as spot microphones for recording guitars, keyboard, percussion, wind and string instruments.
The electronic impedance converter uses a perfected circuit topology. This design reduces the noise floor to an extremely low level while also raising the maximum output capability. As a result, these microphones have a clean, distortion free sound over anextremely wide dynamic range. RFI susceptibility is very low.
Microtech Gefell UMT 70 S
The UMT 70 S condenser microphone, equipped with our reliable large diaphragm capsule, features outstanding performance, high sensitivity, and improved signal-to-noise ratio. The microphones guarantees particularly clean and colourless sound reproduction. It is well suited for instrumental and vocal soloists in radio and television broadcasting and any other kind of accurate production.

The pressure gradient transducer is a dual capacitor design that uses a single brass back plate and two large-diameter gold-plated plastic diaphragms. Varying the polarization voltage applied to the diaphragms results in three directional characteristics: omni, cardioid and figure 8. A ring at the bottom of the microphone's head grille is used to select the pattern. The transformerless circuit design substitutes the previous transformer for a symmetrical output stage yielding a superb transient response combined with a high RFI rejection. The circuit technology also achieves a wider dynamic range by lowering the self-noise floor and increasing the headroom for loud signals. A 10 dB attenuator has been installed to reduce the sensitivity of the microphone when placed near very loud sound sources. A sensitivity reduction for low frequencies can be utilized to suppress the proximity effect when closemiking with the cardioid or figure 8 patterns.
Microtech Gefell M300
The M 300 is a compact condenser microphone in studio quality. The miniature microphone is well suited for vocal and instrumental soloists. lt permits a lifelike recording also at various sound incidence, e.g. announcer in synchronous studios, speaker, blower. The M 300 is designed for studio applications in radio, television broadcasting and films for live performance and recording of instruments, vocals and speech and sound reinforcement in the professional and semiprofessional market also under adverse acoustic conditions, e.g. in churches.

A low-noise integrated hybrid circuit and the transformerless circuit design guarantee an extremely wide dynamic range by a low equivalent loudness level and a high reliability in operation.
